At Dog Ear Leather, every journal is made by hand in Washington, DC. Good things take a little time, and we appreciate your patience while we make yours.
Production Time
Most Dog Ear Leather products are made to order.
Please allow 5–10 business days for production, plus shipping time.
Production time begins after we receive your order and any necessary customization details. If we need clarification or a particular material is unavailable, we’ll contact you.
Production estimates do not include weekends, holidays, or shipping time.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship within the United States only.
Shipping Rates & Delivery
Available shipping methods and charges are displayed at checkout.
Delivery times depend on the shipping carrier, destination, and service selected. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
If you need your order by a particular date, please contact us before purchasing. We’ll let you know whether your timeline is realistic.
Tracking
When tracking is available for your shipment, you’ll receive the details by email once your order ships.
Shipping Delays
While we do our best to get every order out on time, delays can occasionally happen during production or transit.
If we anticipate a significant production delay, we’ll contact you.
Once a package is with the shipping carrier, delivery timing is generally outside our control. However, if something goes wrong, please reach out and we’ll help investigate.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase.
If you notice an error, contact us at dogearleather@gmail.com as soon as possible. We may be able to correct it before your order ships.
If an order has already shipped, address changes may not be possible. Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect address may be the customer’s responsibility.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at dogearleather@gmail.com with your order number.
We’ll work with you and the shipping carrier to investigate and determine an appropriate resolution.
